So if you are like me and have the children on half term holiday next week, you might find it a bit of a struggle to follow your normal exercise routine. Getting to the gym or a class is difficult when you have small people around.
All is not lost though, you just need to be creative:
- Can you clock up some steps by walking to the local park, maybe even go on the swings yourself – great for the core?
- Dust off your bike and go out for a ride, you can take this healthy snack as a treat to eat halfway through.
- Get up early to go for a walk or run and then enjoy a healthy glow for the remainder of the day.
- Undo the wrapper of the exercise DVD you bought months ago and have never got around to watching. Get the kids involved and all dance around the lounge like crazy loons.
And after the children have gone back to school what better way to reward yourself and prepare for the Christmas madness by booking on to our retreat?
