So, where will your footsteps be leading you this week?

I’m walking as often as I can at the moment in preparation for the Trailwalker Challenge  in July. It such a lovely time of the to be outside, observing trees and plants waking up after the winter months, listening to the birds singing plus the added bonus of saving on the cost of diesel!

There is a phrase that I am always saying and that is “something is better than nothing”, so I put this into practice yesterday. I had planned to walk 15 kilometres, 4k of these were to be during my morning running group, but a lack of inspiration to get out the door on time meant that I only actually managed just under 10k. It all adds up and is better than sitting at home on the couch.

Are you lacking the motivation to put your trainers on and starting a regular exercise regime? Can I help?

I love working on a 1-2-1 basis with clients and seeing their progression each week, such a rewarding experience.

I first contacted Emma as I was struggling to recover my fitness and ideal weight following a few years with health problems. I can honestly say it was a great decision, Emma worked out a programme that is constantly evolving and is always the right balance between challenging and achievable. I have found it really helpful to have the discipline and structure of a personal trainer both in creating a suitable programme and then monitoring it every step of the way to ensure I reach my goals.

Emma’s easy going, friendly personality creates a relaxed, comfortable atmosphere. She makes each workout challenging, creative and most importantly fun! I am amazed at the extent to which I have become motivated and even enthusiastic about exercise.

Have a great week, and stay healthy!
